Job Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst Graduate to join our team at Midleton Distillery. As a Business Analyst, you will support decision-making processes, enhance operational efficiencies, and contribute to our long-term strategic growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in a dynamic and growing industry, working with key stakeholders to optimize our production, sales, and distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to production, sales, supply chain, and market trends. Provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency.
- Business Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within existing distillery processes, recommending data-driven solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Financial Analysis: Work closely with the finance team to analyse cost structures, monitor budgets, and assess profitability across different product lines.
- Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, such as the implementation of new technologies or expansion plans.
- Dashboard Development: Create and maintain performance dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various departments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior management, production teams, and other departments to influence strategic decisions.
- Forecasting: Assist with production and sales forecasting to support inventory management and distribution strategies.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Support the team in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and monitoring risks related to production and supply chain operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
- Strong interest in the beverage, food, or manufacturing industry; previous experience in a distillery or FMCG environment is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
