Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (Technical) with 4-7 years of experience to join our clients team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs while formulating solutions to align with business strategies. You will have significant experience in business process reengineering, technical analysis, and requirements management. Additionally, you will provide consultation, develop test cases, and create documentation for technical designs and business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Formulate business solutions that align with overall business strategies.
- Lead business process reengineering efforts and identify new applications of technology to improve business effectiveness.
- Utilize industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering methods.
- Prepare solution options and conduct financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build decisions.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps to develop or modify computer programs.
- Perform complex business analysis, including coordinating and documenting business requirements.
- Identify risks and inefficiencies within business processes and projects, providing solutions for improvements.
- Develop test cases and provide training on projects and business processes.
- Communicate business processes and workflow diagrams to stakeholders.
- Document business processes, requirements, and technical specifications.
- Offer technical input on project documents and ensure proper documentation of system needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience mentoring and providing consultation to other Social Services Applications (SSA) staff.
- 4 years of experience analyzing and interpreting technical information, including regulations, policies, and automation system documentation/specifications.
- 4 years of experience writing and communicating technical instructions, translating user/business needs into technical language.
- 4 years of experience planning and coordinating individual and group work activities.
- 4 years of experience in problem detection and diagnosis of application issues.
- 4 years of experience creating technical designs to solve business problems.
- 4 years of experience working professionally with a broad range of stakeholders.
- 4 years of experience preparing concise business requirements, technical specifications, and related documentation.
- At least 2 years of experience as a data analyst, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Tableau, etc., analyzing and interpreting raw data.
- Familiarity with industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures in business analysis and process improvement.
