How you will create an impact
There is lots of exciting modernization and transformation work happening in AIG, and you will have the opportunity to work with the business on a wide variety of interesting projects.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Engage with business users and subject matter experts to understand their needs and gather requirements for new system functionalities or enhancements.
Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization to improve our operational efficiencies and adherence to controls.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including business stakeholders, solution architecture, third party vendors, data, and infrastructure teams to document solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance such as consumer duty.
Create comprehensive business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases to guide development and testing activities.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and vendor partners, ensuring effective communication, managing expectations, and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
What you’ll need to succeed
Business Analysis and/or Change Management experience
Experience of working as an IT Business Analyst within Financial Services
Exposure to Agile and Non-Agile delivery methodologies
SDLC and requirements methodologies knowledge
Analytical skills, business process re-engineering skills, and data analysis skills
Experience with testing, test planning, and execution
Understanding of the UK regulatory landscape
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a large, matrix organization model
Ability to prioritise work and adhere to project deadlines within a fast paced environment
