About the Role
As a Business Analyst in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organisational context and complete business analysis activities, and ultimately elicit, document and manage the requirements throughout the project or program end to end, and other analysis activities such as testing, process mapping and change transition. Working within the stakeholder engagement framework for the project, the Business Analyst is to communicate these requirements to key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the project’s or program’s objectives and benefits.

What will your day look like?
The Business Analyst is critical to making this happen and will:
Ensure that assigned business analysis activities are conducted within agreed cost parameters, ensures that the outputs and benefits are clear and that identified products provide efficiencies in business
Develop requirements that are fit-for-purpose, accurate and display an understanding of the financial implications to the project or program and manage the requirements throughout the life of the project
Assist with activities in implementing the change and embedding BAU transition
Work efficiently with the customer to elicit project requirements that are fit for purpose, recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities
Adhere to established ANZ policy and procedures and display an understanding of project and program practices and governance
Display knowledge of business analysis processes, demonstrate ability to document and communicate requirements effectively and provide input for the improvement of business analysis processes and performance
Support the analysis of project and program risks and issues, adhere to change control processes and requirements traceability throughout the life of the project or program in accordance with established effective document management
Act as a reference for team members in the application of business analysis activities and elicitation techniques
Provide support to other business analysts and contribute to the professional development of the business analyst community at ANZ
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven business analysis experience and/or related technical experience
Experienced at facilitating workshops for all change related activities and a desire for collaboration with stakeholders
Detailed knowledge of business analysis tasks, experience in elicitation techniques and competent in requirements gathering skills
Solid understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures. Some domain knowledge of impacted business units
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working on mid to large sized projects.
Can appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a medium complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represent consolidated findings
