About the Role
As the Business Analyst, Procurement, you will work within our supply chain team, and assist the Manager, Supply Chain Administration in planning, organising, and managing the company’s procurement business goals and objectives to deliver efficient, professional service to all stakeholders. This will require innovation, a complete understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and being process driven with a good financial and logical approach to the procurement function. You will also be responsible in supporting supply chain from a systems perspective, ensuring that all information, including but not limited to data mining, market research, metrics, KPIs creation and maintenance of data within the relevant libraries and tables. Duties will also include planning, scheduling, initiating, monitoring and quality assurance of all procurement and contract activities. This role will require independent and professional judgment and is performed under the general direction of the Manager, Supply Chain Administration.
Other key areas of this role will include assisting buyers in conducting market research and identifying key market trends, as well as data mining to provide spend analytics to the team and preparing visual dashboards and reports for stakeholders. You will also develop scenarios to assist with the development of commodity sourcing strategies and assist with optimisation of spend reporting across all categories.
About You
The successful Business Analyst, Procurement candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience within a similar role, preferably within a procurement function. You will also have outstanding reasoning ability, to deal with problems involving several variables in standardised situations, and strong analytical skills, as well as computer & ERP system skills, using word processing, spreadsheets, Power point presentation, ERP and eSourcing and eContract.
You will also have experience with Power BI, SQL and be an advanced user of Excel. You will have the ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and energetically approach tasks assigned. To be successful in this role it is also vital you can work within timelines, having a technical understanding of the business process allows for the efficient management of timelines by managing multiple tasks and projects.
