We have 2 new Senior Business Analyst roles available in our Engineering Practices space in Technology.
The first opportunity:
We’re looking for someone who can help us gather insights through Lean and Agile design methodologies. You’ll be using Design Sprints to collect essential information from technical teams and business stakeholders to inform and shape a new innovative Technical Induction Program.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:
- Experience in agile and lean methodologies.
- Strong skills in conducting design sprints.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- A digital background would be ideal.
The second opportunity:
We’re looking for someone who is proficient with Power Apps to help build out our engineering competency framework to help assess the current workforce in terms of skills and capability. The framework will be used to feed into our strategic workforce plan as well as build out a prototype on how we capture, assess and report on the skills within our workforce.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
- Develop and support applications using Power Apps.
- Create user-friendly, accessible front-end systems.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers to implement the assessment tool.
- Develop and generate reports using Power Apps
Both positions are 3-month Contracting roles that can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you’ll have the flexibility to work from our office space in any of these locations or work from home.
How will I help?
You will add value by:
- Partnering closely with business initiative owners to develop a deep understanding of the challenges, pain points and areas of opportunity.
- Planning, establishing, and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
- Conducting Cost/Benefit Analysis to support discovery and new business investment proposals.
- Developing current and future state process documentation.
- Developing business requirement specifications (BRS) and functional requirement specification (FRS) documentation (as required/project specific) and utilising standard templates and guidelines.
- Challenging and asking 'why' to provide the best solution for the business and our customers.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop clear and unambiguous product backlogs of work which deliver the outcomes needed by our business.
- Working with the team to define Epics, Features, User Stories, and tasks for the business initiative at pace.
