As a Business Analyst Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience, increasing value-add, and maximising accessibility while minimising risk. You will work closely with business and technology teams to elicit requirements, analyse processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a liaison between business and technology teams.
- Eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Recognise opportunities for process and productivity improvements.
- Articulating security and resilience needs.
- Working with a diverse stakeholder group across council to deliver innovative solutions.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience in project delivery and analysis.
- Experience working with large ERP solutions such as TechnologyOne's OneCouncil ERP.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable qualifications and skills include Agile Certification, experience with Jira, and working in a PMO.

- Hours of work: Temporary Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement. Opportunity is expected to be available for up to 12 months.
