Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience, increasing value-add, and maximising accessibility while minimising risk. You will work closely with business and technology teams to elicit requirements, analyse processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as a liaison between business and technology teams.
Eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
Recognise opportunities for process and productivity improvements.
Articulating security and resilience needs.
Working with a diverse stakeholder group across council to deliver innovative solutions.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

Tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science, or related field.
Proven experience in project delivery and analysis.
Experience working with large ERP solutions such as TechnologyOne's OneCouncil ERP.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable qualifications and skills include Agile Certification, experience with Jira, and working in a PMO.

Package: $109,000 - $120,000 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
Hours of work: Temporary Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement. Opportunity is expected to be available for up to 12 months.

Employment is subject to clearance of all these checks.
