About the role
There is an exciting opportunity to join our Tomago Branch as a Business Analyst to join the Warehouse Operations team on a Monday – Friday fulltime basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the position is responsible for the analysis of Product Support performance for the development and maintenance of business reporting.
Additionally, the position will provide technical support and enhancements to the warehouse management system to ensure efficient and effective operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Live the Values – Leads by example everyday through actions, behaviours and decisions.
- Manage the Quality Assurance Document (QAD) & Incident reports by ensuring stakeholders complete actions of responsibility within assigned timeframes and appropriate analysis of reports occurs.
- Promote continuous improvement and the utilisation of Caterpillar Production System (CPS) within the Parts NSW team.
- Proactively identify processes within Parts NSW that would benefit from improvements and recommend the appropriate action.
- Provide high quality, robust and accurate analytical support to the Warehouse Leadership Team members as to enhance and facilitate the success of Parts Operations NSW.
- Conduct initiative evaluation, variance analysis, key performance indictors derivation, risk evaluation.
- Develop and maintain high level business and strategic reporting.
Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience in similar analyst role
- 4 years’ experience in an integrated Warehouse Control System and WMS system
- Highly competent in using Power BI to develop and maintain reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal and written communication
- Highly developed problem solving skills, with ability to think logically and follow a process oriented approach to completing tasks
- Demonstrated analytical, planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan, determine priorities, and achieve specific goals within set timeframes to the standard required
- Exceptional customer service skills with focus on stakeholder engagement and customer oriented delivery
- Working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and/or WMS
- Highly developed computer literacy skills, with an understanding of relevant business systems
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team environment
- Proven experience to lead and implement change
- Strong understanding of business acumen in a commercial sense
- Technical IT application testing
