Our Health Care Management (HCM) team are embarking on an exciting strategic initiative that encompasses a comprehensive program of work across Health Insurance (HI) and the broader Bupa business. This program aims to execute the HCM strategic plan through significant initiatives and transformative changes. To support these efforts, we are establishing a dedicated HCM Program Delivery and Execution team focused on enhancing project delivery for both strategic and BAU projects.
The opportunity:
We have 2 new Business Analyst roles available in our newly formed Program Delivery and Execution team in HCM.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Execution, this role will partner closely with our HCM delivery managers, change managers and initiative owners to deliver high quality business analysis to drive outcomes for the HCM portfolio of Strategic and BAU Initiatives.
HCM has a Program of Strategic Initiatives and BAU projects of varying size and duration that span across HI and the broader Bupa business. The initiatives can be strategic, BAU, foundational and compliance in nature.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:
- Proven experience gathering requirements using various techniques, workshops, interviews, and surveys.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple portfolios.
- The ability to translate technical jargon into business language and vice versa.
- Knowledge of Change Management techniques and be able to work alongside a dedicated change team.

This is a permanent role, that can be based anywhere in Australia, you can enjoy the comfort of working from home or use any of our head offices if you prefer to work in the office (located in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, or Adelaide).
How will I help?
You will add value by:
- Gathering technical requirements and translating them into business requirements using various techniques, workshops, interviews, and surveys.
- Developing business requirement specifications (BRS), using standard templates and guidelines.
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Supporting business transitions and helping to establish change and working with change management.
- Partnering closely with initiative and business SMEs to develop a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities.
- Actively participating in the preferred project methodology, Delivery Hub governance and work collaboratively with Technology teams.
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
- Collaborating with technology to implement any changes and alignment between business needs and technology capabilities.
- Communicating and collaborating across portfolios and translating technical jargon into business language and vice versa.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with delivery teams, technology, delivery hubs, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors.
