Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with specialized expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to lead key project deliverables for implementing various health plan files, including 834 and proprietary eligibility, COB, and group files. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and develop comprehensive frameworks for EDI exchanges that meet business needs and industry standards.
- Develop and implement innovative EDI frameworks for eligibility exchanges across different health plans.
- Quickly understand business rules, core platforms, and applications for EDI data.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to clarify requirements, review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases, and align project objectives and deliverables.
- Develop detailed documentation of business rules, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Conduct multiple rounds of end-to-end testing, leveraging experience in developing and performing test scenarios.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry, specifically with EDI.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and requirements, especially 834 transactions.
- Ability to lead projects independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience with user acceptance testing and developing test scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with health plan data management.
- Knowledge of additional EDI transactions beyond 834.
