Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in business analysis, documentation, process modeling, stakeholder management, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Agile methodologies, API mapping, and project governance, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Documentation:
- Create and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Business Glossary, Data Models, Test Strategy, Project Plans, and Process Flow diagrams.
- Prepare Requirement Matrix, Gap Analysis, Problem Analysis, and Business Case reports.
- Conduct process/data modeling including ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ analysis using Visio or Enterprise Architect.
- Analyze and document APIs and create API mappings.
- Gather critical business requirements from stakeholders and produce detailed reports.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Support the development of test cases and review testing evidence to ensure adequate coverage.
Process & Project Management:
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions.
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and management to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Manage projects, develop project plans, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and prioritize a Product Backlog, defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Act as a key player in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, team demos, retrospectives, SIT, and UAT sign-offs.
- Research industry trends in digital and data spaces to improve business processes.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform data analysis using SQL, MicroStrategy, or Tableau.
- Utilize strong problem-solving and visualization skills to interpret complex datasets.
- Ensure alignment of resilience assurance requirements for cloud services against regulatory policies.
Stakeholder & Governance Management:
- Build effective work relationships across functions and seniority levels.
- Provide support to Management Teams, Workstream Leads, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to optimize BA processes.
- Maintain a structured requirements library (SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, ADO).
- Ensure adherence to project governance standards, financial management, risk management, and change management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes, governance, and project management standards (nWOW).
- Escalate, report, and mitigate key risks and issues, ensuring they are recorded and addressed promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of IT processes, business analysis frameworks, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Clarity, ADO Boards, and Confluence.
- Excellent understanding of APIs and hands-on experience in API mapping.
- Strong data analysis skills using SQL, MicroStrategy, or Tableau.
- Proficient in project management methodologies such as Waterfall SDLC, Agile, and Scrum.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor junior BAs and enhance their skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with an ‘Agile’ mindset.
- Industry-recognized BA certification is a plus.
