· Lead the process of eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Engage with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable specifications.
· Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and recommend strategies to optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance overall performance.
· Manage the execution of business analysis projects, including creating project plans, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely delivery. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
· Collaborate with development teams to design solutions that meet business needs. Ensure that proposed solutions align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING SKILLS TO THE TABLE:
· Three+ years of related experience is preferred, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering effective solutions.
· Strong proficiency in business analysis, data analysis, and project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, VISIO, etc.).
· Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaboratively and cross-functionally.
· Excellent understanding of Agile Methodology. SQL programming skills is a plus.
· Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Continuously seek ways to enhance business analysis processes and methodologies.
YOU’LL ALSO NEED THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
· Robust communication skills through written and verbal communication, with technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong ability to think critically and aptitude for problem solving with a high degree of ownership and delivery.
· Keen writing skills – ability to produce clear, concise and high quality technical and business documents.
· A desire to work collaboratively in cross functional teams with strong sense of accountability and self-motivation.
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant or related field is a plus.
