Why this could be a great role for you….
As a Business Analyst in our National Customer Service Centre, you will work as part of a small change team delivering a variety of change activity.
If you are an analytical thinker, enjoy solving problems and improving ways of working, whilst collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, then this could be the role for you.
As a key member of the change team, you will help to investigate business problems and analyse options for solving them. This will include assessing the risks, benefits and feasibility of the options and presenting this back to key decision-makers. You will work with key stakeholders to design and deliver solutions, supporting the transition to business as usual and contributing to training when required.
You will undertake process improvement activity, mapping current processes and identifying what changes in process, procedures and practice are necessary to achieve change and deliver the planned benefits. You will work with management to embed changes within the business and provide advice and assistance to other teams developing methods and ways of working.
Working closely with project managers, you will contribute to delivering projects, including eliciting and documenting business requirements and supporting the transition to business as usual.
What you will bring…
You must have experience of delivering business analysis in a change setting, including problem investigation and options design, business process improvement and analysing business requirements.
You should have knowledge and experience of business process modelling, gap analysis and process design methods including introducing new business processes into a team or organisation. An ability to take a ‘system’ wide view of a situation is essential.
A good working knowledge of project management is important. Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential along with an ability to influence and build relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation to help facilitate change.
You should be comfortable when facilitating improvement workshops and conducting stakeholder interviews to understand the current situation and to collaboratively design solutions to business problems.
The BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis qualification is desirable.
