Technical Business Analyst
Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team. The duration of this post is initially 3 months with a possible extension thereafter. The role is based in Tallaght, Dublin. The working model is on site.
Working a 35 hours per week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €29.21 per hour. Based on an annualised salary of €53,347 The successful candidate will accrue 30 days annual leave per year.
- To work as part of a team on the design and development of NAS Technical Infrastructure (e.g. CAD Computer Aided Dispatch, MIS, Radio/Telecommunications, and System Virtualisation).
- To work as part of a team on the design and development of NAS Operational and Corporate Systems (e.g. Electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR), eRostering, Quality Information System, Community First Responder System, etc.)
- Engagement with stakeholders in relation to digital health initiatives and providing implementation services for new developments.
- Ensuring that ICT infrastructure and applications are assessed at appropriate intervals to plan renewal and replacement.
- Translate functional specifications and business requirements into architectural designs.
- Proactively identify and implement efficiencies and improvements in Systems & Infrastructure.
- Provide proactive technical expertise in developing and managing solutions to support service delivery.
- Perform appropriate testing as required.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions.
- Analyse current business practices, processes, and procedures to identify future opportunities.
- Contribute to governance, standards and best practise within NAS.
- Work as part of a team to drive innovation, which will translate into improved quality of care, clinical outcomes, reduced costs, efficiencies and process improvements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and detailed training to persons as appropriate.
- Deploy a robust project management methodology such as Lean, PRINCE2 or Agile to analyse processes and optimise process workflows.
- Support the creation and maintenance of all security policies and procedures.
- Ensuring security standards are embedded into all operational processes.
- Promote organisational awareness of information security.
