Job Title: Business Analyst (Intermediate)
Location: Offsite/Remote
Contract / Permanent: 3 Months, With further extension. (It is anticipated that the Resource will provide the services on a full-time basis for 10 - 20 days (approx.) 1 - 2 days per week. As required, according to project plan
The Resource will be required to provide the services for 8 hours per day (excluding lunches or rest periods) Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays in the Republic of Ireland) between the hours of 8am and 6pm)
Start date: 07th April 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Experience Level Required:
- It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of intermediate-level experience
- Please demonstrate that the resource as at least 4 years of substantial professional experience in Business Analysis
Qualification:
- It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed hold the following qualifications or equivalents:
- A third level qualification in a related IT discipline from an accredited education institution, minimum NFQ 6.
Key Deliverable:

- Leads the review and analysis of the organisation’s business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
- Establishes the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating and justifying business needs.
- Conducts feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models
- Prepare detailed specifications and oversees development and implementation of solutions, taking into account the implications of change on the organisation and all stakeholders.
- Liaises with management regarding the delivery of process and organisational change

- Please show previous experience in website planning and development
- Please outline previous experience of client-facing consultancy projects in either the private or public sectors.
- Please outline how the resource has shown the ability to participate in multi-disciplinary teams and to work independently (with limited supervision).
- Please demonstrate how the resource has performed professional-level analysis requiring technical skills and independent initiative within a well-defined programme of work.
- Demonstrate how the resource has engaged with clients at strategic/management level when required
