The Product Owner's / Business Analyst's role is to gain a deep understanding of the business, their strategy and what enhancement or change would be of highest value or lowering risk.
Once identified, the Product Owner leads the digital "product" by analysis and clearly articulating the feature or project to ensure business alignment and understanding from the technical team to collaboratively design, build and implement the solution.
The Product Owner must ensure that:
- The digital product has a clear vision for their product and/or initiative.
- The vision and impact are further defined into executable EPIC's, User Stories and/or Features.
- Communication within both business and technical teams are effective.
- An environment of high trust is maintained.
This person must take on an active leadership role, leading and directing the product or initiative from design to user adoption.
The Product Owner is closely supported by the CIO, Scrum Master and Technical Team to ensure successful execution.
