Treasury Business Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive , with subject matter expertise in Treasury, to join one of our key financial services clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team while contributing to critical projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in Treasury operations, focusing on Interest Rate Risk and ALM to deliver impactful business solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and propose solid solutions to business problems
- Support the design and implementation of process improvements, ensuring efficiency and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
- Analyse financial data and reports to assess risks and opportunities within Treasury and ALM functions.
- Contribute to the development of strategies aimed at optimizing balance sheet management and liquidity.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis within Treasury, Interest Rate Risk, and ALM.
- Treasury Execution and Markets Risk knowledge essential
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments, risk management, and balance sheet optimisation.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting.
- Review data reconciliations, advanced level in Excel is essential
- Murex experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with business analysis, process improvement initiatives and solution design
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to ensure delivery of solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
