Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Consultant / Business Analyst with expertise in business practices and market trends in Asia and Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will work closely with clients or agents in this region to help them enhance their operations, expand market reach, and maximise growth opportunities. This role requires an in-depth understanding of cultural, economic, and regulatory environments in Asian markets and the ability to deliver customised solutions that align with local needs.

Responsibilities

Market-Specific Business Strategy Development:

Identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities in these regions.
Develop region-specific strategies to improve market positioning, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Consultancy & Advisory Services:

Provide expert guidance on navigating regulatory environments, cultural dynamics, and local business practices.
Advise on cross-border operations, market entry strategies, and risk management specific to Asia and Southeast Asia.
Deliver insights into regional economic policies, trade agreements, and their impact on business operations.

Market Expansion & Business Development:

Work with clients to design and implement market entry or expansion strategies in Asia and Southeast Asia.
Identify potential partnerships, distributors, and stakeholders to establish a strong presence in target markets.
Facilitate deal negotiations and collaboration with local entities to achieve strategic goals.

Project Management Across Regions:

Manage projects in diverse industries within Asian markets, ensuring seamless execution across different time zones.
Coordinate with multicultural teams to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in the region.
Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Digital Transformation & Innovation:

Identify opportunities for digital transformation in the Asia-Pacific business context, such as adopting e-commerce platforms.
Recommend and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experiences.
Collaborate with IT teams to localise technology solutions for Asian markets.

Requirements

Regional Expertise: Strong knowledge of business environments, regulatory frameworks, and cultural dynamics in Asia and Southeast Asia.
A proven track record of working in or with businesses operating in Asian markets.
Expertise in market research, and business continuity planning specific to the region.
Fluency in English, with proficiency in an Asian language such as Chinese, Malay, or Bahasa Indonesia being a strong advantage.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across diverse cultural contexts.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region to meet client and project requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economic, or a related discipline.
Experience with digital transformation projects in Asian industries.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 60 months

Pay: £38,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
