Vhi Group Services DAC have a full time temporary vacancy for a Senior Business Analyst within the People and Sustainability Rewards team. The successful candidate will act as an agent of business change completing investigation, analysis, review, documentation and implementation of business process and technology change associated with the Career & Reward Framework Review Project. The project aims to review, design, and implement a new career and reward framework impacting over 1500 colleagues across the organisation. This role involves gathering and analysing data, engaging with stakeholders, and providing insights to support the development of a fair, competitive, and sustainable framework.
Role responsbilties will include but are not limited to
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business requirements related to career pathways, job roles, grading structures, and reward mechanisms.
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops ensuring there is quality documentation with formal agreement from stakeholders on scope and requirements
- Work with business stakeholders/process owners to ensure that captured requirements are measurable and testable
- Articulate and contribute possible solutions to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
- Apply structured business analysis methods and techniques to support projects in a standardised and efficient manner.
- Lead the project through mapping of existing processes, identifying areas for change and recommend process improvements
- Use appropriate techniques and tools to capture ‘as is’ business processes, work with the business to define and document the ‘to be’ processes
- Design future-state processes that align with the new framework
- Analyse data and provide data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively
- Support Project Manager in implementing best-in-class programmatic, planning and reporting methodologies to ensure the project is managed in a standardised way
- Provide best-in-class business analyst acumen to project team
- Support with reports and presentations for stakeholders and steering committee.
- Assist the Change Manager in business Change Management activities including drafting communications, solution adoption planning and running training.
Criteria: Education and experience
- Relevant third level qualification and/or business analyst professional qualification with a successful track record as business analyst with minimum 5 plus years’ experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of collaboration tools and a willingness to learn
- Experience working on business projects with significant organisation impact
- Extensive experience of project delivery methods to provide business solutions
Technical
- Highly developed analytical and innovative problem solving skills
- Proven experience with requirements elicitation and documentation.
- As is/ to be process and flow diagram creation.
- Data modelling - desirable
