We are seeking a skilled Business Resilience Program Analyst for an 18-month contract role to support the integration of business continuity processes, tools, collateral, and training for a recent acquisition.
You will be helping support a major integration involving this recent acquisition, which is currently in the very early stages. The project involves the integration of numerous business continuity elements, namely replacing the internal tool of record for business continuity planning. This will involve engaging with various teams around the world across both the existing business and the recent acquisition. Disruptions are a daily occurrence in this area of work, so no two days will be the same. This role will require a self-motivated individual capable of proactively organising their day as required in the moment.
We are looking for strong experience in both business continuity planning and project management.
Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Business Continuity Program Manager, the analyst will:
· Develop and execute a process to identify gaps and map acquired business continuity plans and critical processes into the overarching Business Continuity framework.
· Perform business impact and risk analyses to align critical processes with the organization’s continuity strategies.
· Collaborate with Business Continuity plan owners, practitioners, and sponsors to incorporate new continuity strategies.
· Create a change management process to ensure the acquired organization’s teams understand and align with established Business Continuity standards and practices.
· Develop and manage a project plan for integrating continuity processes, while maintaining existing materials during the transition.
· Train team members from the acquired organization on Business Continuity planning processes, tools, and resilience program requirements.
· Maintain engagement with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of continuity efforts.
· Identify and assess the business continuity preparedness of third-party suppliers from the acquired organization.
· Support the development and maintenance of Business Continuity program collateral, adhering to review and retention policies.
· Track and report on relevant Business Continuity program metrics monthly.
· Monitor global events, assess potential impacts, and communicate effectively with BC stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Working knowledge in business continuity practices, project management skills rather than IT PM skills.
- Working knowledge of IT systems, database tools, such as SQL queries, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc. required
- Background or interest in global affairs/geo-political awareness preferred
- Ability to develop and implement actionable plans
- Ability to be effective in both collaborative and individual contributor environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, reporting and strong interpersonal skills
- Significant capacity for detail and interrelationship reasoning
- Ability to analyze and assess data, identify and address problems, and to create proactive solutions
- Strong organizational, time management and planning skills
- Rapid work style with very high capacity to handle multiple activities simultaneously
- Adept in using MS Office Suite (including Teams and SharePoint) as well as other personal productivity tools
- Experience with integrations a plus
