About the Role:
Important note: Only Singapore Citizen candidates will be considered as this is a high security CAT-1 project.
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our Data Management Operations activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reconciliation, and quality checks, along with hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, conducting UAT, managing user queries, and meeting data-related SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management Operations Support: Assist in the efficient operation of data management tasks, ensuring data processing, monitoring, and integrity are maintained across systems.
- Data Reconciliation & Quality Checks: Perform data reconciliation and quality checks to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and completeness of data. Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies and data quality issues.
- Oracle PL/SQL Expertise: Use Oracle PL/SQL to query, manipulate, and manage data across systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- UAT Support: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or updated data systems, validating their functionality, data flow, and ensuring they meet all necessary requirements.
- SLA & Query Management: Oversee SLAs related to data operations, addressing end-user queries and requests promptly while ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
- Documentation Support: Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical and functional documentation, including system specifications, workflows, and data management protocols.
- Finance Domain Knowledge: Apply a strong understanding of finance domain processes to ensure data operations comply with business needs and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Use logical and analytical skills to resolve data-related issues, identifying root causes and providing effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including IT, finance, and operations) to ensure smooth data management operations and enhance process efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- CAT-1 clearance or eligibility is required for this role.
- Proven experience in supporting data management operations and performing data analysis, reconciliation, and quality checks within Investment firm .
- Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL for querying, reporting, and data manipulation.
- Experience performing UAT, including testing and validating data systems.
- Strong ability to manage SLAs, handle user queries, and prioritize tasks.
- Experience providing documentation support, including creating and maintaining technical and functional specifications.
- Solid understanding of finance domain processes, regulations, and data requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with stakeholders and teams.
Advantageous Skills:
- Snowflake: Experience working with Snowflake for cloud-based data warehousing and analytics.
- Denodo: Familiarity with Denodo for data virtualization and integration across multiple data sources.
