Currently, we are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst and Functional Business Analyst to work ona significant project at the Sydney location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team
- Supporting business transition and helping to establish change
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Prepare in-depth cause and effect analyses risks
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define business concepts and understand data requirements
- Support the day-to-day needs by providing data analysis, project deliverables, risk management and operational needs to achieve strategic objectives
- Experienced in running requirement workshops, brainstorming, discovery and training sessions
- Ability to plan and monitor the requirement elicitation, analysis and documentation process
- Promote the best practice use of Agile techniques
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence is required
- Experience with a guidewire, workers’ compensation or claims centre or policy billing is desirable
- Experience working in azure, Microsoft 365 is advantageous
- Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills required
