About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in SWIFT MT and MX payment messaging formats and ISO 20022 standards. You will drive the analysis and implementation of payment system enhancements, bridging business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements for payment systems.
- Recommend solutions aligned with ISO 20022 and SWIFT standards.
- Provide insights on MT/MX formats, ISO 20022 migration, and compliance with global messaging standards.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and operations for seamless system integration and testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining and validating test scenarios.
- Communicate with banks, financial institutions, and payment processors.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions on system updates.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven BA experience in banking or payments.
- Expertise in SWIFT MT (e.g., MT103, MT202) and MX formats.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and global payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA).
Desirable:
- Familiarity with clearing platforms and investigation processes (e.g., CAMT).
- Testing experience and exposure to project management tools like Jira/Confluence.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and teamwork capability.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
Certifications like CBAP or Agile/Scrum knowledge are advantageous.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
