Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst serves as the key liaison between customers and internal technical teams, focusing on understanding and analysing customer requirements, designing customised solutions, and managing Proof-of-Concept(PoC) projects. This role ensures that customer requirements are translated into actionable technical specifications, leading to successful project implementations.
- Requirements Analysis and Scoping: Engage with customers to analyse their business needs, system requirements, and work processes. Gather detailed functional and technical requirements to ensure alignment between Hanshow retail solutions and customer objectives.
- Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with development teams to design tailored technical solutions that address customer requirements. Generate high-quality documentations, utilising data, process, and system modelling tools.
- ICT Project Management: Manage technical projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, timelines, and risks. Ensure timely delivery and completion within scope of PoC/trial projects.
- Demonstrations and Workshops: Deploy and host product demonstrations and workshops with customers, showcasing solutions capabilities and strengths. Support training sessions to customer key users.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed on technological advancements, customer insights and industry trends. Regularly update technical knowledge and apply new findings to ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information System, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a technical business analyst, solution engineer or similar role. Retail technology knowledge are preferred, including but not limited to POS, ERP, CMS etc. Experience with Electronic Shelf Labels, commercial LCDs, smart payment solutions and retailer applications are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Gantt charts, MySQL, and Microsoft tools such as MS Project, Excel, and Visio. Expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Project Management: Experience of coordinating complex ICT projects and assessing risks effectively. Relevant Project Management Certifications are highly desirable.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, stress-resistant, team-player, passion for technology.
- Communication: Excellent multi-lingual communication skills. English and Chinese are mandatory.
- Additional: A driving license is desirable but not mandatory.
