Your opportunity
You will:
- Assist the Global Head of Business Resilience across all aspects of the Business Resilience program at Janus Henderson Investors (JHI).
- Be a point of contact for our global offices, responsible for maintaining relationships across the organisation.
- Support the key Business Resilience program components (e.g., Threat Analysis, Business Impact Analysis, Continuity Planning) to ensure they are current and provide assistance and guidance to Business Continuity Coordinators when required.
- Assist in the development, facilitation, and coordination of Business Resilience table-top and stress testing exercises.
- Develop schedules and materials for Business Resilience training and awareness activities to ensure that recovery teams are trained and proficient in implementing business continuity plans and supporting tools.
- Administer and maintain standard materials used for client facing activities, including due diligence packs and responses.
- Assist in the production of management information and reporting materials and other artefacts such as metrics.
- Administer artefacts to support the use of key third-party continuity service providers.
- Monitor industry and Business Continuity and Resilience regulatory news and trends.
- Monitor and communicate potential threats that may impact the JHI business.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- The role is designated as on-call, meaning availability outside of traditional business hours may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities for incident response and crisis management.

Must have skills
- A good understanding of strategic business risks.
- Ability to develop a good understanding of Janus Henderson Investors’ business and relate that knowledge to identified continuity and resilience approaches.
- Knowledge necessary to propose relevant continuity and risk responses to changing business risks and regulatory changes.
- Proven ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate continuity and resilience related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- High level of personal integrity, with the ability to handle confidential and otherwise sensitive matters professionally and with the appropriate level of discretion, judgment and maturity.
- High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work with and interpret data.
- Ability to work to and deliver within, tight deadlines.
Nice to have skills
- BSc/BA degree level educated.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the financial regulatory environment in relation to business resilience.
- Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of a broad range of standards and frameworks would be helpful e.g., International Standards Organization (ISO) 22301 and 27001.
- Ability to use data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI would be helpful.
