We're currently looking to recruit a Business Support Analyst to join our Kier Places Systems Team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role will support the Senior Business Analyst feeding into plans and actioning on areas of business requirements, user stories, process, standard operating procedures and user application testing (UAT).
Location: Can operate in eitherBasingstoke, Hampshire or Loughton, Essex with flexible hybrid working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – flexibility on the days worked available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
Responsibilities
As a Business Support Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Understanding in detail any business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analysing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting workshops with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand pain points in the customer journey.
- Preparing relevant documentation (e.g. Business Requirements Document, Process Maps, Standard Operating Procedures, Training Material) for business improvement activities.
- Understanding the system landscape/functional capabilities of systems in use by the business to identify key changes and assess associated impacts.
- Finding solutions to business problems and assisting in the design of technical solutions.

- Experience in a similar role encompassing business analysis and training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective customer service and documentation skills.
- An ability to build trust and positive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Translating technical aspects to non-technical people and translating business requirements to technical people.
