Job Description
We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Business Analyst, Vice President to help us research, identify and address critical gaps in our activities, controls, control effectiveness, governance process and process documentation for Global Cybersecurity (GCS) projects within the Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) team. The position performs a wide range of activities with experts from GCS, data, business intelligence, governance, and other business analysts to collaboratively solve complex cybersecurity problems.
About the Cybersecurity GRC Team
The Governance Risk & Compliance team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our cybersecurity activity at State Street. The Governance Risk & Compliance team is involved in the identification and implementation of identifying inefficiencies in business processes and suggesting improvements and anticipate future needs, understanding Agile methodologies to respond quickly to changes and deliver incremental value to our business, as well as inform our strategy and operations with audiences ranging from daily operational teams to the Board of Directors. As a cybersecurity Business Analyst within the Cybersecurity GRC Team, you will have a significant opportunity in making a difference on the team, within the cybersecurity organization, as well as State Street overall.
What you will be responsible for
- Understanding and applying NIST cybersecurity framework best practices
- Understanding cybersecurity business needs and identifying solutions to cybersecurity business problems
- Working with project management tools and documentation
- Producing business requirements, process documentation and strategic recommendations
- Engaging with business stakeholders to understands and translate business needs
- Qualitative analysis to propose improvements in processes and strategies

Preferred Qualifications
- At least seven or more years of relevant Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Management experience or an equivalent
- Experience with the NIST cybersecurity framework
- Six Sigma Lean Certified – Yellow Belt or above or an equivalent
- Strong experience working with project management tools, documentation, business requirements, process documentation, translating business needs and qualitative analysis
