What you'll be doing
-
Conducting thorough analysis of business problems to help define clear business requirements for our Change Deliveries

Contributing towards and creating user stories to ensure a shared understanding across the team

Facilitating scrum events and/or refinement sessions
-
Operating with agility
-
Assessing the impact of changes, capturing, analysing, and documenting requirements

Supporting the communication and delivery of change with stakeholders
-
Provide expert advice and translating technical jargon to business stakeholders and colleagues
-
Acting on opportunities to adopt trends and new concepts
-
Contributing to course corrections (i.e. retrospective / lessons learned / feedback loops)

Fostering a fail-fast culture of innovation and professionalism within your delivery team where there is clear ownership and accountability

Ensuring adherence to agreed principles, guardrails, and governance

Fostering excellent relationships with team members, relevant partners, suppliers, and internal / external stakeholders

Playing an active role in our Communities of Practice to pass on knowledge and build expertise
What Do We Need From You?
Are you;

An experienced Change professional and passionate about T-shaped skills?
-
Confident working in both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall delivery teams with an ability to flex your approach?

Able to understand business change requirements whilst being agile in your thinking and approach?

Able to focus on the customer and colleague with an innovative and open mind?

Able to work in partnership with stakeholders including facilitating conversations and workshops to understand problems, in order to find the right solutions which deliver value for our customers?

Able to thrive in self-organising teams?

Able to articulate complex technical jargon in a way that makes sense to our non-technical stakeholders?

Able to collaborate, influence and motivate a wide variety of colleagues?

You’ll need a strong ability to work collaboratively, supporting and championing the growth and development of colleagues, demonstrating high emotional intelligence with strong leadership skills, be a brilliant problem-solver and have an inquisitive appetite to continuously develop and learn. You’ll enjoy working with a variety of people, be able to inspire and motivate and you’ll be self-driven and self-organising.
You’ll be able to flex your skillset to meet business demands, applying the most appropriate approach to enable us to deliver change successfully. You’ll be able to facilitate scrum events, workshops and refinement activities to turn business problems into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Ultimately, the business will be relying on you and the team to make sure the solutions we deliver are practical, achievable and of value. Most importantly, you’ll be able to clearly identify how what we are doing adds value and moves us towards our strategic priorities.
What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role:

You’ll have experience as a Business Analyst supporting a range of change deliveries
-
Experience of both agile and more traditional delivery mechanisms (e.g. waterfall)

Possess strong decision making and prioritisation skills; have experience overseeing and managing complex problems
-
Problem-solving and logical thinking to create minimum viable product outcomes
-
Customer and colleague centric
-
Operational and systems thinker
-
Proven ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence others to drive results across a matrixed organisation

Strong leadership and excellent communication skills

It would be advantageous if you have certification in agile

It would be advantageous to have knowledge of / experience in Financial Services
