Job Opportunity
As a Business Analyst supporting the Wilmar Sugar & Renewables business, you will be responsible for analysing current business processes and gathering requirements for a range of business improvement projects, from system upgrades to new technology implementations. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at working across multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business units, and IT teams to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyse, validate, and prioritize user requests, making sure they align with business goals and IT capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Assist in the design and development of new IT systems or the enhancement of existing ones.
- Perform data analysis to drive business decisions, recommending areas for improvement and process optimization.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure IT solutions meet business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+years) as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business process modelling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools such as UML, BPMN, or other modelling software.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is a plus.
