we are seeking to recruit an Arabic analyst to join our expanding Middle East and North Africa (MENA) team. Skills
The requirements of the role are:
• Fluent Arabic and English speaker (additional proficiency in regional languages such as Farsi, Dari, Pashtu, French, or Turkish is also desirable)
• Demonstrated interest and knowledge in the MENA region and some experience working in the region is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English is essential.
• Excellent communication skills including report writing, editorial and presentation skills.
• Ability to research, analyse and present data and information in an accurate, logical, and concise manner.
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and quality
• Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Solid problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrates inquisitiveness, lateral thinking, and clear reasoning.
• Ability to consider and assess multiple factors and present solutions.
• Adaptable to change and a team player.
• Experience in a relevant industry such as research, journalism, banking or experience in integrity due diligence, business intelligence or investigations industry is desirable, but not essential.
• MS Office proficiency
• High integrity and ethics.
Our tasks:
• Properly identify and research appropriate parties and levels of research for each case
• Conduct research into new and existing clients, searching online databases for negative media, PEP, sanction, and court record information.
• Analyse and summarise large amounts of data.
• Identify and deem relevancy of public records, as it relates to customer information. Your qualifications
• Knowledge or first experience in Compliance, KYC/AML and/or investigations
• Fluency in English and Arabic mandatory!
• Research, analytical and comprehension skills
• Attention to detail skills is essential.
• Detailed, well organized, self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in high-pressure environment
