Business Analyst - Algo Execution
A Business Analyst plays a key role in driving change across the technology platform here at Millennium. Given the rapid growth of our trading businesses, it has become imperative that we expand our team to support the trading desks and their internal electronic trading needs.
This role will work closely with our Execution Services, Compliance and control functions to set strategy, define requirements and prioritize projects. You will work even closer with our local and global development teams to deliver new and enhance existing capabilities.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex, cross-functional program and projects.
- Synthesize requirements across stakeholders.
- Analyze upstream/downstream data dependencies and create the necessary BRD/FRD and associated JIRAs.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps and other project artifacts required to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Work with teams across multiple areas
Qualifications/Skills Required
- 5+ years relevant Technology, Electronic Trading, Risk and/or Compliance experience at an investment bank or hedge fund
- Subject matter expertise in Equities & Equity Derivatives products and markets (and regulations); hands-on project experience related to trading systems, trade flows and in-line execution controls.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and to proactively anticipate, identify, prevent and resolve issues
- Strong understanding of order management systems including around common algos, order splitting /routing, slippage analysis
- Data analytics and experience in working with large and complex datasets
