Job Description:
PENNEP is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with specialized experience in HRP (Health Rules Payor) and GuidingCare systems. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and healthcare providers to analyze, design, and implement business solutions that improve operational efficiency, meet compliance requirements, and enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for HRP and GuidingCare system enhancements.
- Analyze and interpret business needs into detailed system requirements and functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and lead discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment of business goals.
- Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of system changes and new functionalities in HRP and GuidingCare.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, workflows, and use cases to support project goals.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in system validation and user acceptance testing to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide ongoing support for system users, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, while aligning with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Strong expertise in HRP (Health Rules Payor) and GuidingCare systems.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, process analysis, and system testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Preferred/Nice to have:
- Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare claims, enrollment, and case management workflows.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
