Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed
description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather, analyze, and document user requirements, business processes, and problems to automate or improve existing systems; elicit and document business needs for new systems.
Analyze program policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas.
Assist in requirements gathering.
Identify opportunities for improving business processes through automation and assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems.
Assist with reviewing and preparing complex project management deliverables such as project charters, project plans, test plans, and risk management plans.
Consult on the analysis of an application, troubleshoots system problems, and recommend solutions.
Provide quality assurance consultation to projects, assignments, or special initiatives.
Develop and review test cases; process change requests; and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
Maintain assigned business relationships with vendors, seek best value for new and renewing technologies, and review and approve monthly and annual invoices.
Follow all TDA policies and procedures.

8 Required Review complex project deliverables such as charters, design documentation, test plans, and risk assessment plans; and provide comments and suggestions to document owners
8 Required Develop the design and/or review of test cases; processes change requests
8 Required Provide complex quality assurance consultation to, or oversight of, projects, assignments, or special initiatives
5 Required served as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (i.e., Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain, etc.
5 Required Consult on the analysis of an application, troubleshoots system problems, and implements solutions
5 Preferred work experience with Agile methodology and user story analysis
1 Preferred Strong experience as a Data Analyst in analyzing raw data, and as a Business Analyst in requirements gathering, understanding technology, and any project management experience with PMP
