The Council has an opportunity for a Project Manager BA with a passion for delivering great outcomes for staff and customers alike.
Waimakariri District Council has embarked on a significant project to replace its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This solution will provide capability that will touch every member of staff and support them in carrying out their day-to-day activities that provide services to the ratepayers, and visitors to the Waimakariri District.
This role will primally work within the Human Resources team to deliver a number of new SaaS applications such as Health & Safety and Human Resource tools to benefit internal Council Staff.
To be successful in this role you will have to possess:
- Project management delivery experience gained managing projects across diverse organisations
- Strong understanding and experience of project management and Business Analysis methodologies for both waterfall and agile approaches
- Provide technical business analysis duties, capture, document business process mapping and configuration and supporting the Council staff.
- Ability to present and engage effectively at all levels of management across the organisation
- Strong stakeholder management experience – you can demonstrate working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ability to problem-solve, you’ll feel at ease approaching a problem and able to work through it practically
- Proactive can-do attitude This position is being offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.
