As a Business Performance Analyst, you will play a highly visible role in building out scalable operations to understand Zillow's business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure we're on track to achieve our growth goals.

Develop and establish repeatable operations to effectively understand and report business performance
Set up end-to-end processes and operating models to understand business performance trends, identify actionable insights & opportunities, and steer decision-making
Lead the preparation of business performance reviews for key executive forums, including Monthly Business Reviews, Forecasting and Annual Planning
Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance data across various domains including financial metrics, sales & revenue, marketing & demand generation, products, services, and external market
Identify meaningful trends and performance drivers to generate strategic insights for business impact
Identify, define, and monitor critical KPIs and metrics to measure progress on key strategic priorities and growth objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand performance drivers, identify insights, and align on opportunities to improve business performance and drive growth
Present recommendations for improving business performance and achieving long-term goals to senior executives
Support strategic initiatives on business performance analysis to address specific business questions or challenges
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $98,600.00 - $157,400.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven success in leading analysis of business performance or financial data
Experience presenting business insights to senior executives to influence strategic decision-making
Prior experience in business operations, revenue operations, strategic finance, product operations, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy at a technology company
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in generating actionable insights from complex data
Ability to clearly communicate recommendations to senior executives
Confidence, resourcefulness, adaptability, and flexibility needed to engage diverse stakeholders
Comfort with ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
4+ years of experience in business operations, revenue operations, strategic finance, product operations, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy in a technology company
Additional 2+ years of demonstrated success in business data analysis and presenting insights to senior executives
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex strategies and insights to teams at all levels
Master's degree in a related field
Experience in a fast-paced technology or real estate company
Knowledge of the real estate or technology industry
2+ years of business consulting experience
