Primary objective
Identify opportunities, develop, and implement solutions to facilitate the continual improvement of Licensing NT business
systems to meet strategic priorities and operational requirements.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide system specific technical and subject matter expertise in the delivery of administration support, problem
resolution, system access changes and system development and implementation initiatives.
2. Interpret legislation and audit findings for application to business processes and change management strategies.
3. Provide advice, support, and recommendations to the senior management group in relation to structure, system and
process changes that will support the achievement of Licensing NT objectives.
4. Participate in projects, including stakeholder assessments, change readiness, capability transfer, and training.
5. Provide support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through
transitions, including delivering presentations.
6. Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and implement improvements to processes, systems, and work
practices.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in the areas of change management documentation and reporting.
2. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including technical and business
representatives and executives, with excellent active listening skills and ability to clearly articulate messages to variety
of audiences.
3. Ability to interpret and translate legislation administered by Licensing NT into operational decisions and apply to
projects.
4. Knowledge in researching, analysing, coordinating information, and providing concise, relevant, and timely advice.
5. Well-developed ability to manage multiple projects and priorities for a range of stakeholders.
6. Ability to work with a high-level autonomy and accountability with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
Desirable
1. Demonstrated understanding of relevant national and local industry issues and regulatory initiatives as they relate to
Liquor, Racing and Gaming.
2. An understanding of NT Government record-keeping legislation, policies, and procedures.
