The Junior BIS Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting SimoTech’s digital transformation by assisting with the roll-out of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, implementing technological enhancements, and developing BI tools for performance analysis. This hands-on role involves customizing the ERP system to meet SimoTech’s operational needs, managing IT assets, and supporting various technological initiatives within the company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in digital transformation and a passion for working with IT assets. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical skills, collaborate with multiple business units, and make a meaningful impact on the company’s operations.
- Assist with the implementation and roll-out of the new company-wide ERP system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues raised during roll-out phase.
- Administer system modifications, changes, and enhancements as needed.
- Create custom reports and dashboards for performance analysis.
- Develop scripts to enhance ERP integrations and BI analytics.
- Provisioning of IT assets, including laptop procurement, setup and troubleshooting.
- Provide general IT support, including setting up peripherals and resolving software/hardware issues.
- Support website and BIS integrations, including web forms and portals.
- Bachelor’s degree in business information systems or equivalent field.
- 1+ year’s professional working experience is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to generate pivot tables and graphs to represent data.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/Access/Oracle database structures and basic queries.
- Familiarity with website structure and ability to perform basis modifications.
- Experience with programming languages: Javascript, Python, PHP or similar.
- Ability to work as part of a small, focused team environment.
