About the Role
The Digital and Information Services (DIS) branch delivers responsive and transformative information and technology, enabling council to be a leader in providing innovative and sustainable services to its communities.
The focus of the role is to capture business requirements, develop project plans, and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes for the DIS branch and the business.
About you
You will be performing business process analysis, system, data, risk and issue analysis. You will conduct market research, develop business cases, and evaluate application solutions.
You would have demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of IT projects including but not limited to; working with the business to prioritise project deliverables, and risk management and reporting. You will develop project plans, manage budget and resources to ensure the delivery of business outcomes.
You will perform procurement activities, including vendor evaluation, contract and service agreement reviews, formation and monitoring of budgets, and vendor and service performance monitoring.
As a requirement of this role, you will have obtained a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science, and/or have relevant industry experience in business systems analysis, project delivery and project management. You would have strong time management and organisation skills to develop plans, coordinate actions, gain cooperation and deliver outcomes, and have strong analytical problem solving and evaluation skills with the capacity to examine complex problems and develop innovative for their resolution to a diverse client base.
Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check and pre-employment medical assessment.
