Job description:

In this position you will support the monitoring, oversight and understanding of the Government’s business portfolio through the application of your financial and non-financial skills and experience to a variety of different tasks, responsibilities and projects. The position plays an important role in supporting the work of more senior Branch members. As such, it also has a strong focus on the development of new knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.

About You

This is a great opportunity to apply and develop your research, analysis and administrative skills to support the provision of policy advice to the Government on the operation and strategic direction of its broad portfolio of Government businesses.

About the Branch

The Shareholder Policy and Markets Branch is part of Treasury’s Economic and Financial Policy Division. Its key responsibility is to support the Government in managing its interests in Government businesses.

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

Desirable Requirements

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
