The current team of business analysts have supported a wide range of district council services including planning, communities, ICT, Council Tax, housing benefits, waste management and customer services.
The demand for the team continues to increase and the successful post holder will have a unique opportunity to work across an extensive range of services to support a broad range of projects.
To date the business analysts have been able to support, using a range of tools and techniques, with projects on energy bill rebates, Pre-application process for planning, garden waste collections, One Leisure Centres - the list goes on and on.
This role requires a high calibre candidate who must be able to demonstrate excellent planning and workload management skills, have a strong track record of successful delivery and be highly competent at stakeholder management across the breadth and depth of an organisation. Experience of district council services is not essential for the role, but may be useful background knowledge.
The appointed candidate will be well-supported throughout their onboarding into the district council and we are open to discussions from individuals who may be on their career journey and want to step up to the next role.
We are also recruiting for a Business Analyst role if this is more appropriate to your skills and experience. View the Business Analyst advert.
Above all we want to recruit people who are committed, enthusiastic, willing to learn and give something back to their local community. Working for a district council provides a unique opportunity to use your individual skills and experience to make a positive change to the lives of many people.
