What will you be doing?
In this exciting role, your key stakeholders will be senior management and claims team leaders; who you will help guide through decisions for the best outcomes for our customers and business.
Directly reporting to the Head of Performance and Quality Assurance, you will be the 'go-to' person for claim performance in both New Zealand and the Pacific markets.
You can expect to be across the following:
- Manage relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to improve claim performance
- Develop clear and comprehensive monthly/weekly/daily business performance reports, with actionable recommendations and insights
- Help develop and drive strategic claims initiatives, plans and process improvements
- Play a leading role in enhancing and enriching claims reporting through PowerBI
- Drive pro-active insights that will improve our customer experience and business performance
- Build KPI/SLA metrics and tracking to effectively gauge claim performance across all parts of the value chain
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will be a self- starter who thrives in enhancing performance and process through stakeholder engagement and analytical insight. A high competency in numerical analysis, verbal and written communication is essential.
You will thrive in connecting strategy to tactical decisions and want to consider the end-to-end impact of decision making.
This will require excellent data sourcing and analytical experience, with the ability to leverage existing and emerging toolsets to continually drive data-led decision making.
To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- 4+ years in an analytically heavy role
- Track-record of delivering actionable insights and driving business performance
- Advanced Power BI skills
- Advanced SQL skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability in solving complex and challenging business problems
- Data visualisation, presentation, and communication skills
- A bias towards action and willingness to take ownership
- Confident in external partner performance meetings
