Pizza Hut is looking for a passionate, driven, technically savvy and commercially astute Business Analyst to be a key part of Global Digital & Technology team! You are responsible for driving growth on our digital platforms (Web, apps, and whatever the future may bring). The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the franchisees level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate will be a strong analytical thinker who has a track record of systems-level problem solving and developing successful plans to execute in a fast paced environment. They should also have very strong communication and analytical skills. Partnering with global in house UX, Engineering, Analytics teams, the position assist the Product Manager in analyzing business processes, gather requirements, and provide technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate and communicate with Franchisees to understand and document business requirements, this may involve discussion with third party vendors if integrations are impacted.
- Work with internal stakeholders such as UX Research team, conversion rate optimization team etc to elicit necessary requirements to improve the e-commerce platform
Analysis and documentation
- Analyze and document current business processes and workflows from current state to future state
- Create detailed user stories in JIRA and in the absence of product manager leads the scrum team/ squad in explaining the requirements to ensure user story can meet the definition of done
- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specification and in validating technical solutions to meet business needs
Data Analysis:
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights to support requirement gathering using GA, Fullstory, Data AI and other analytics tools in the suite
- Analyse post delivery of features, ensuring features meet the original expectations in terms of uplift etc, optimize features rolled out
Communication and training:
- Provide regular updates on progress in absence of delivery lead
- Train the franchisees in adoption of new product features by creating training materials and communicating those through live demonstration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Technology, Computer Science).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools such as Google Analytics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Minimum two years experience in QSR industry, retail industry or consulting
Preferred Skills:
- JLPT 1 – able to read and communicate in Japanese and English
- Exposure and hands on experience to Google Analytics is necessary, BI reporting such as DOMO and CX tools such as Fullstory is preferred but not necessary
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes especially in Agile methodology such as Scrum
- Competency in JIRA is compulsory
