The Opportunity
As a Business Analyst, you will be collaborating with our business teams to understand the opportunity and operating landscape including the proactive identification of strategic optimisation and enhancements to core systems and processes.
Using your analytical skills, you will translate this into requirements to drive the required change. This is likely to involved data analysis, business modelling techniques, process mapping, requirement/user story creation and prioritisation.

What you’ll be doing
As a Business Analyst, you will undertake information and data gathering, providing analysis on the collated information. You’ll present your findings to senior members of the business analysis work stream and other members of the project team to inform the As-is context and problem statement.
Providing assistance in workshops and interview, you will capture associated information and ideas and present the information back to the participants for approval and you’ll review solution designs, test strategy and business procedures to ensure consistency with the original problem statement, the defined solution and delivery of the identified benefits.
You’ll collaborate with Business Managers, Solution Architects and Project Managers to develop a variety of viable solutions to support differing expenditure, benefit capture and risk scenarios and will identify the optimal solution options and the structure by which they will be delivered.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone with the following skills/experience:
Understanding of design techniques, including the use of modelling and collaborative tools, such as Miro, Confulence and Jira and how they underpin the development of business improvements.
- Understanding of standard methods and techniques [BA competency / ISEB] with the ability to select the appropriate approach for a particular assignment.
- Knowledge of the approaches to deliver projects, including online, web and digital using an Agile methodology.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member, demonstrating organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Good workshop facilitation and interview skills, including negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience of dealing with senior business managers, demonstrating credibility in advocating change and displaying commercial acumen.
