To help us with this, we are searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Transformation team based in Invercargill.
What you'll be busy with:
- Supporting SBS Bank change agenda and SBS Group initiated programme of work to achieve our strategic objectives
- Acting as an intermediary between the business entity, both at an Enterprise and Business Unit level and the change community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed
- Defining business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information before outlining detailed requirements to ensure the delivered solution meets those business requirements
- Review and revise business processes to capture a complete understanding of current procedures and Member and team member experience, identifying improvements and documenting
- Supporting Business Owners and Managers to understand the contribution initiatives have on the overall organisational purpose and assists with the identification and quantification of value; ROI and/or benefits, and/or efficiency improvements for the purposes of initiative feasibility.
What you'll bring:
- Sound experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- A strong understanding of technology and ability to partner with software engineers
- An excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
- Experience in the finance industry is preferable
- An enthusiasm for and willingness to share the concept of innovation
- Ability to build strong stakeholder management relationships
- Preferably hold a relevant Tertiary education or Membership of the International Institute of Business Analyst

This role is full time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
