We’re on the lookout for a Technical Business Transformation Liaison/Analyst —someone who can bridge the gap between stakeholders and engineers, ensuring seamless communication, optimized delivery pipelines, and smarter business outcomes. You will be joining an insurance consulting client of ours on an initial 6-month contract. This is not solely a technical DevOps role but rather a Technical Business Transformation Management position requiring a solid understanding of how DevOps operates and its fundamentals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be the Translator between business stakeholders and DevOps/Engineering teams—ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Drive Discovery by gathering and analysing business requirements, user stories, and technical use cases.
- Optimise DevOps workflows including CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, and security best practices.
- Spot the Gaps and suggest improvements to delivery pipelines and development processes using a data-driven approach.
- Engage Stakeholders by leading discovery sessions and clarifying the technical implications of business decisions.
- Document Everything with clear and concise process maps, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Assess Risks and analyse the impact of proposed changes to ensure minimal disruption and maximum performance.
- 4+ years in a Business Analysis, Technical Project Management or DevOps role.
- A strong grasp of DevOps principles and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Good understanding of containerisation and ability to explain this to client (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Excellent communication skills—you can talk tech with engineers and strategy with executives.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Terraform, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Paying in the region of £60k pro-rata
- Initial 6 month contract which could become permanent.
