Ensure that high quality analytic input is provided to the priority East Midlands Primary Care programmes, as determined by the team Consider the monitoring of Pharmacy, Optometry and Dental contract performance and quality. This will also include GP Functional and complaint data analysis. Ensure that ensure appropriate baseline data is available and data collection in place to allow robust monitoring of delivery of quantitative outputs and outcomes; work with Primary Care colleagues to avoid duplication and to triangulate this data with monitoring of key activities and achievement of key milestones. Develop excellent relationships and support effective communication between all relevant stakeholders both internal and external.
This might include analysts in other health and care organisations, project, programme and contract and commissioning managers, finance managers, clinicians etc. Gather, analyse and interpret complex information, including both quantitative and qualitative, from a wide range of sources taking account of confidentiality and the limitations of the data used. Draw on the knowledge and expertise of other analysts within the SAIU and the wider system to broaden analytical input and improve the quality of work produced. Present findings of complex investigation and analysis and recommendations in a clear and intelligible form as presentations or written reports, suitable for a wide range of lay and professional audiences.
Participate in relevant meetings, providing information advice and support where requested. Effectively manage several projects simultaneously and prioritise workload appropriately. Analysing and interpreting complex data to produce detailed, concise reports, suitable for formal presentation to clinicians and managers within the ICB Providing advice & support to staff on the use of information and statistics made available to them and to communicate highly complex statistical/analytical information to non-statistical/analytical staff in a user-friendly manner.
Contribute to the wider work around developing the local system data and knowledge infrastructure by improving data quality where possible, identifying data gaps, ensuring that any new data sets are standardised and aligned with wider local requirements, that any new data flows are into a centralised place, and accessible to all required parties.
