ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 12-month fixed term role.
As a Service Desk Analyst (internally known as a Business Support Analyst) you will be part of the internal customer-facing team in our Information Systems (IS) Department, you'll be providing our Ballance employees with IS tools, setup and ongoing support of everything IS
Ballance operates a range of solutions including SAP, Hybris, Office 365 and Citrix so knowledge of these systems would be advantageous. Other responsibilities include:
- Prioritisation and resolution of support calls to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues and document their outcomes
- Provide technical support to telephone and email requests from users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals
- Help all colleagues develop their skills and knowledge with respect to support
- Analysis of support call data to identify opportunities to improve system usability and user capacityResolve technical issues over the phone using remote tools
ABOUT YOU
If you have a "can do, make it happen" attitude, a desire to provide outstanding service to internal customers and the willingness to grow your information systems skills and knowledge then this role with one of Tauranga's largest employers may be the opportunity you are looking for. - Previous technical experience in information system support or training
- Experience supporting a corporate Microsoft environment
- Strong communication and excellent customer service skillsExcellent troubleshooting skills.
