Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, specialising in foreign exchange (FX) payments and virtual accounts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing business requirements, designing solutions, and working closely with stakeholders to implement enhancements in FX payment processes/portal and virtual accounts management.
You will bring extensive fx payments experience and agile approach, and be a successful conduit between Ops teams and Tech Development.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business units and technical teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for FX payments and virtual account functionalities.
- Analyse and translate business needs into technical requirements for development teams.
- Propose and implement streamlined solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
- Support testing efforts, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Analyse transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities.
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor FX payment performance and virtual account usage.
- Ensure that FX payment processes and virtual account solutions align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within the foreign exchange or financial technology industry.
- Experience with APIs and integrations for payment gateways or virtual account systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Understanding of banking, payment regulations (e.g. AML, KYC), and compliance standards.
