Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies are at the forefront of police collaboration, leading the way in improving decision making, governance, change, and performance. Our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is responsible for managing change, ensuring alignment to organisational priorities, enabling oversight of future planning and organisational capacity, enabling the successful delivery of change and innovation / transformation thus delivering an effective service to the public, partners, and workforce. Within the PMO, the Project & Improvement team consists of Business Analysts, Project Managers and Senior Business Innovation Managers who work collaboratively to deliver analysis and change for the collaboration.
The roles will be primarily based working from home but occasional travel including to either PHQ in Suffolk or Wymondham in Norfolk may be required. Essential Criteria
1. Significant experience of working in a role which required continuous improvement, organisational development or project management (i.e. Business Analyst or with transferrable skills)
2. A strong understanding of analytical techniques with the ability to analyse business problems and identify solutions
3. A good understanding of business analysis techniques such as process mapping, value stream analysis or LEAN ways of working
4. Proven experience of working to deadlines and delivering quality products to meet objectives
5. Strong oral and written communication for effective communication to a wide range of stakeholders
6. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and Visio
Desirable Criteria
1. Good understanding of project management techniques including costs, benefits and risk management
2. Awareness of using research and evidence-based practice to inform work (i.e. Evidence Based Policing)
3. Continuous Improvement Qualification/Apprenticeship/Training
4. Experience of working in a Policing environment or the public sector

Eligibility Criteria
All Applicants must reside in the UK and have continuous residency for the past three years, rising to five years for certain roles. (The only exceptions are being stationed abroad through the Armed Forces or having taken extended holiday / travelled for a period of less than 12 months, where your UK residency has been maintained) Please refer to the job description for the residency requirements for this role.
